With a new EP looming in April, Egyptian Blue has dropped the incredible ‘Never’. The band uses the gritty, bluesy guitar licks that open the track to show exactly what they’re trying to achieve. A metric deception shifts the accent of the riff and some trippy effects fade in and out, turning this piece into more of an experience than a song. Everything mellows out to allow the vocals to take centre stage, before cranking back up for a strangely catchy chorus.
